Week nights in Newcastle

Anyone ever been?
I've got to go to some meetings at our northern office before Christmas. Some jelly is being disciplined and I was volunteered to go cos I missed the Friday afternoon meeting where it was talked about.
Anyone got any stories - is the booze cheap? do I need a spray tan? how easy are the birds? Do they speak scottish lol?
I'll try and get the boys to come. I don't fancy clubbing on my own. Anyone know where is good on a week night? I've only seen Geordie shore so not sure if those are the places to go?

Was working up in Souith Sheilds but stayed at the Newcastle Malmaison. Great boutique hotel on the river front. I did walk up (and bloody steep walk) to Revolution and few 'trendie -' bars. Pretty shit I thought and high ratio men to women. The women i did see weren't special. I guess the weekends ae lively.
I stuck to the Hotel bar and surroundings.
